Founder & Executive Director
Tamika Williams, Founder and President of Beautiful I Am Organization, is a firm believer that, “We can see the impossible become possible with hard work, support, and endurance,” It is with this thought in mind that she has become an advocate for the educational growth, health, and welfare of girls and women worldwide.
Kendra Joseph
Vice President
Experienced Supervisor with a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry. Skilled in Microsoft Word, Sales, management, Adobe Photoshop, and leadership. Strong professional with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) focused in Business/Managerial Economics from University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Dagayla Burks
Director of Finances
Ms. Burks has over 15 years of federal contract experience. She currently serves as the budget lead for a program within the Department of Health and Human Services and has expertise in project management and communications.
Laurice Tisdell
Director of Programming
Laurice oversees our programming department, where she plans and organizes programs and activities for women of all ages to achieve their dream and overcome life’s challenges. She attends community events in an effort to build and maintain positive relationships. Laurice also assists with recruiting and promoting events and programs. In addition to her board service, Laurice serves on the Planning Committee.
A native of Philadelphia, Laurice’s diverse career has spanned from Human Resources to working as a Federal Hearing Officer and a Federal Mediator with the Federal Government. For fun, she volunteers to support her community and planning her next adventure with her family.
Catherine Lee
Director of Events and Fundraising
With 20+ years, be it at her child's school on the PTSA Executive board trying to raise funds, or at my community Boys and Girls club as a cheer parent helping with activities, or at my church as the ministry leader for our Youth/Teen ministry. I have been committed to working with the youth and teens in my community. That is why I am so passionate about the vision of the Beautiful I Am (BIA).
Doing it all while working in various positions within the federal government for 30 years in the field of Finance and Procurement. The areas I have worked on include coordinating training, planning events and ensuring excellent customer service by me or anyone that worked for me.
