Leadership!
Little beauties will develop confidence in expressing ideas and taking initiative in group discussions. They'll be able to demonstrate leadership by facilitating at least one group activity, such as leading a discussion or managing a reading circle.
"Dream Big, Little One" by Vashti Harrison showcases 18 trailblazing Black women who changed the world and inspired big dreams. It is a smaller version of her book "Little Leaders: Bold Women in Black History," which shares the stories of an additional 22 women.
